And a hearty welcome to the 7th edition of the Cake Pirate!
Yeeesssss- Cake Pirate is one and what a year it was. I'd rather not think about all the start-up problems we had and rather thank all of you, who believed in us.
This is why, this anniversary issue is more beautiful, and in my opinion, Mr. Froggy has to be in it. He will make an appearance twice, although I am not quite sure what he himself thinks about the kissing round in the tiered cake tutorial.
Two very actual trends are also included, one being pompoms, the other being a coverage of candy bars, where I would love to thank both Heike and Steffi of www.sweet-candy-table.de , who have sent me some lovely photos .
My Interview partner in this issue is Greg Cleary of Sweetums.com.au and I am so happy that a male has the chance again to say something about cakes, too many people still think, that decorating cakes is a "female" thing.
And whoever wanted to learn how to make icing drop flowers, well you will receive all the information from Karin this time.
I love to plan each and every issue and I hope that many more issues will follow and you all stay as loyal as you have until now.
So, all that is left is to wish you all a lot of fun in reading this issue and I am always very happy to see photos of your cakes, that you make with the tutorials that I have uploaded ;)
